

Hey, I'm Emily!

Originally from Carmel, Indiana, Emily Urbanski is a Nashville based performer and choreographer. Since the age of 5, she has studied numerous dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, contemporary, and others as well as performing at venues including Kings Island, Indiana Pacers and Butler University basketball games, and Disney World. When she was 8, Emily began singing and acting with local theaters around the Indianapolis area.
In 2016, Emily moved to Nashville to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre from Belmont University. Some of Emily's performing credits include Sophie Sheridan in Mamma Mia! (Studio Tenn), Jo March in Little Women (Belmont University), Mrs. Potiphar in Joseph...Dreamcoat (Studio Tenn), Featured Dancer/Sandy u/s in Grease (Studio Tenn), Skylar in Bring It On (Circle Players), Susan in White Christmas (Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre), and others.
Since moving to Nashville, Emily has been able to not only perform, both with Belmont and professionally in Nashville, but also choreographs and teaches. In 2017, she began working for Nashville Theater School where she is now the Assistant Artistic Director. At NTS, she is also the Choreographer and Assistant Director for their productions and teaches dance and musical theatre classes. While attending Belmont, Emily had the opportunity to be the Dance Assistant on 9 to 5: The Musical, the Associate Choreographer on The Pajama Game, and choreograph numbers for the First-Year Showcase.
